Exam Dates
Bowed Strings candidates worldwide may play their three pieces from the 2020–2023 Bowed Strings Syllabus until 31 December 2024. All pieces must be from the same syllabus – candidates may not present a mixture from old and new syllabuses.

Introducing digital certificates – 22 August 2024
ABRSM are introducing digital certificates for candidates in the UK on 22 August 2024.
For exams booked on or after 22 August, candidates will receive a digital certificate with the option to order a paper certificate for a small charge.
You can download digital certificates through your ABRSM account
If you booked the exam, a digital PDF certificate will be available with the mark form as soon as we release results.
Candidates with accounts can log in to download their certificate and mark form seven days later.
Paper certificates will be available to order for £3.
These arrangements apply to Performance Grades, Practical Grades and Music Theory Grades. There are different arrangements for other assessments.
